Paint Ball
Equipment is a very important thing while playing.
A mask is required no matter what. Paint balls fly at about 150-400
feet a second, thats pretty dang fast! Then there is things like
cammo, you know that clothing you wear to blend in with your surrounding.
Its always a plus not to wear anything of bright colors. Then there
is gloves, these are in my opnion a need, because when I played my first
game the 2 spots I got hit where my fingers and left sholder, even with
really thick gloves it still hurt like a B$@^h !!! You should always carry
gun accessories like o-rings, if your gun blows an o-ring then you will
either lose the game because of an invade or lose all CO2, resaulting in
losing the game also, unless you carry a back up. Then there is gun
squeegie, if a paint ball blows up in your barrel and the barrel is wet
then all the paint balls that you shoot from there on out will always shoot
to the right or left too far, or the rest will blow up too, using too much
psi will cause a paint ball to blow up, the squeegie will clean and dry
the barrel quickly. A hat is alwas an additive because washing oil
based paint out isn't that easy !!!
And the last thing that I recommend is paintballs, LOTS, expeccially
if you are like me (Trigger Happy).
There are tons of different guns made by tons of different copanies, if you plan on buying a gun then it should depend on how you want to play. If you just want a gun that shoots balls about 40 feet and you don't plan on playing any games then buy a cheap one like brass eagle. But if you plan on playing like a back yard game then you should go with the more expensive guns made by companies like Kingmen, AutoCocker, and Tippman. I own a Spyder Compack made by Kingmen, really nice gun. If you plan on playing Big major games then theres Angel, AutoCockers and Minimags, really expensive, the most expensive one that I have seen is the Angel's Limited Edition which costs about $1588.88.
For the first time player (Newbie) they always play wanna shoot everything that moves, but thats what gives your location away. After you play a few games it starts to get more tactical. Being a sniper is REALLY fun. Never hide in a tree, and never go running in a open field.
Here is a pic of my first game (the people I played with).
(Another person named Derik played in this game but he was in the woods
somewhere thinking we were still playing)
Here is what I carry with me when I play. Spyder Compack 2nd generation venturi bolt, laser site, 45 grip, 9oz CO2 tank with Neopreem cover (to prevent freezing) 1.5 billion paint balls( just kiffing more like 500 paint balls is more like it), extra ammo holder, JT Mask, cammo, boots, gloves, hat, VL200 hopper (thing that holds the paint balls), squeegie, glass cleaner (for goggles), o-rings, and Multitool kit for quick repairs while playing.
Here is a pic of what my gun looks like with out CO2, Laser Site, Hopper and me attached !
Supercross/Motocross
Supercross is usally held indoors, and motocross is usally on a big outdoors track. They both contain dirt bikes, lots of dirt, people and swearing !!! My fav. racer is but of coarse Jeremy McGrath. Yamaha is my fav. company because of thier YZ, YZF-R6 (Street bike) and tha Banshee (fastest and strongest quad).
Jeremy McGrath
This is him in Seattle.
My Fav. Quad
Yamaha Banshee 2x350cc Liquid Cooled
